What If...........?

Once upon a time not too long ago

Here comes a tale that's about to blow

An off the chart incident in the wildest lands ashore

Okay enough of that, comes the first day, let's adore

Walked in that same room with that same eyeing

Some undone tasks had me dying

"Hey, you!" Come's a screechy scream

And I prayed so much for it to be a dream

"It ain't that easy," said God from above.

"W...W...Why? God," I felt a cold buzz

"Do you not know who it is?"

"No God, tell me please." "Alright, Alright, you might not understand

But that is the only one who would lend a hand In the tough times or even in the good days

In the rough nights, that is your wood plate."

"How? Could you tell me more?"

Sighed God, "Okay, let's go.

Let me tell you a story of a boy named Bill Dreamt his glory, absolutely chill

But as he proceeds, he slips off the edge

Scared out of wits, remembering the wedge

And he too called out to me as you did now

And when I reached back, even he said wow! Now, moving on,

A branch held him back or he had been certainly gone But that branch was special, it saved his life

And to be a better man, he started to strive."

"What was that branch?" in awe said I.

"It was our dear old teacher boy." "Oh my!"

"Let's get this straight, they want the best Not for them, but for you." Said God and left.

And I was there alone on my desk again

As I pondered the question,
