Mental Anguish

Lying down on my bed, scrolling away on my phone
Stressing about problems won’t get solved on their own
For a little context, it’s that time of the year
When I wanna bury myself and disappear
But no can do, all these tests and practicals
Looming over me, made my sanity catapult
Till I’m checking corners for a hunter with the bounty
Mind playing tricks, locked me away from its county
Carrying a mountain of hate, but my back’s still straight
No one can relate, but their favourite action’s to berate
So I turn the other cheek, hide the anguish on my face
Even tired to just speak, some realities I can’t face
But in this race to succeed, losing points is necessary
A little pushback is the key to victory
From a full-page news to a column obituary
Well, time’s up, back to scrolling, today’s itinerary.
