Destined for Greatness

Waiting for a big moment, but I must've squashed it
To elevate my writing, no pain to make me nauseous
This long I wrote based on my rage alone, but I lost it
Hatred can only be so long, honestly I'm exhausted.
Certain lines you don't cross, but I believe I'd crossed it
Coffins on my shoulders, no more retrieving mosh pits
What should I write on, my life is monotonous
And heaving it out no more is an option regardless.
My thoughts would end before this ink but I washed it
And everyday is a blur, my mind seems distorted
Wake up and back to sleep, everything else is frosted
But wait for me no more, I'm overly cautious.
Life gave a second chance, but I believe I tossed it
Or maybe this is time I hung it up and crossed it
And end it for good before it ends up in forfeit
Destined for greatness, no wonder what it costed.
