It was a newly born me
Also known as Democracy.
Abolishing the inequality
Of Dictatorship and Monarchy.
I was no more than a piece of paper,
Now the best form of Government is mine.
From Greece to France to America to India,
From country to country, I covered a long journey.
But a lot has changed
From then and now,
What i used to be
I am not now.
But still some hope is left for me;
Corruption is my greatest enemy ;
And a challenge for me is Poverty.
Equality, Justice and Fraternity,
Eternal peace for the whole eternity.
It's only the people who can save me;
It's high time they realise,
What they are without me.
