Welcome to the city of Gotham
The folks are something that you can't stop em
This is what we have in common
But still, there is no autumn. In the city of Gotham, I reside And I say that with pride
Till the catastrophes subside
This is where I hide
In the land of criminals mixed with the only land with life
And I got no problems but I got to fight demons
With the rhymes that are wack so to kill heathens
But the belief's so strong, it can destroy evils
And the need for conflict could speed up daemons
And I can't live up to the time which is up
I can't act tough, I can't act rough But Gotham won't allow me to man that up
They say we do it for culture
If you aren't like them, you are a vulture
Forced to pray to sculptures to sanctify their blunders
I am a good guy but they ain't their own helpers
Then why do I feel proud of Gotham?
It was my sanctum but it hit rock bottom
Bartering power in exchange for souls
Living off eternity like immortal ghouls
They tend to accomplish minor goals
And then they just destroy us all
This is the fall
Respond to the call of right or stall
For which it might be the wrong haul
You are considered small
In front of all these people who are tall
They want to be famous, they want to have power
But all they do is shame us with there cower
Demoralizing minors, no empower
Trying in vain to overpower,
And we do it
Every time we see a number, Every time we see the gain
Every time we see the fire, Every time we see the vain
Every time we see the work, Every time we see the pain
Every time we see a person, Every time we see a name
But that's not all, hardly enough
There's much more to Gotham than Jokers in the scruff
And I can't cover it all in one prose
But then, what's left now? Nobody knows.
