Clutches of Heaven

O Cursed Rain! Why is it so?
Of all houses standing in vain, you chose mine to blow
Is it disdain for me, or are you just vile?
What price can you pay to return those precious smiles
O Filthy Rain! I thought of us as brothers
We're both heaven-sent, albeit same God but different mothers
And down fell to to a broken world, our charms percieved
To be the end of tyranny of evil men like that evil heat
You chose to vanquish as I stood up against one of my own
We both were temporary fixes but the world is overgrown
And the ones we slay will rise again, even stronger than before
And its a matter of time before they kill us all over again
And take us back in the clutches of heaven where we rein
O Evil Rain! You are a kin to none
Turned on one of your own, but this wrath will return
Come monsoon, we shall be together as one
But you will return to haunt them and I will succumb.
