O Lord, forgive me
For my times of envy When my ignorance turned to blasphemy
And I resent me but why do I ask? Cause the world is ending
And even candles are burning, RIP
And descending to the depths of hell
But still no learning and when I ring the bell It's blood-curling, how came into it green But it no longer seems my dreams are anything but means For a regime to pick up my low self-esteem
Or even intervene and save it like unforeseen
When the dark minds reconsecrated their sanctum
Who'd have thought the world dying wouldn't be an outcome?
Being alone in the world of evil might be a far fight
Both protesters and predators. cause we ain't the one that cops like
And as a little kid stands face to face with the apocalypse All we should ask is, "What is his fault in all this?"
And it's obvious when we rally political It's literal, it's cynical, almost a miracle
We haven't perished already, it's critical
And the issue at hand is considered mythical
It's borderline criminal to ridicule the ecological dissemble
And if I were to go out, I'ma light a candle on fire
And take the whole world with me
Cause the legacy of enmity mustn't be passed unnecessarily
And all the noises tell me to rejoice
As if the sound of their voice
Might be the salvation of choice
As if the rendezvous point is afterlife
If I renegade, I might finally be right.
